The history of Startups.be, as we know it today, goes back to 2018, when Startups.be decided to join forces with Scale-Ups.eu to strengthen their offer in the Belgian tech-ecosystem.
Together, they quickly became the one-stop shop for tech entrepreneurship, bringing together the most promising start-ups and scale-ups in particular. All this was possible thanks to their network of investors, company buyers, global partners and relevant stakeholders. Their goal is to accelerate innovation and cooperation with high-tech companies. By doing so, they enable start-ups and scale-ups to develop faster.
Startups.be | Scale-Ups.eu, today an iconic brand in Belgium, brings together the country's most innovative companies at networking events and conferences in Belgium, as well as in delegations abroad. It's a great opportunity for young companies to meet new people and get inspired.
For several years, Startup Lab has been a zone at the Digital First fair that is entirely dedicated to start-ups. Its ambition is to contribute to the exposure of young promising companies from very different sectors such as digital marketing, business services, 3D, artificial intelligence and IoT.

With this partnership, the organisations Digital First, Startups.be | Scale-Ups.eu want to bring together the ecosystem of Belgian start-ups and scale-ups, which is often accused of being dispersed. The Digital First trade show allows them all to quickly and concretely connect with key figures from the digital sector in Belgium, but also with more modest structures, without forgetting the players in innovation.
The presence of Startups.be | Scale-Ups.eu had already proven its merit at edition 2018. And this year we are more than grateful to be able to repeat this experience. Having Startups.be | Scale-Ups.eu as a partner of the Startup Lab will further strengthen the status and attract even more influential people from the Belgian young business ecosystem.
