Both organizations will integrate their legal entities but continue to operate under their respective names, as they have become strong and established brands in the Belgian and European tech ecosystems.

The Big Squeeze  

The roadmap for 2019 is ambitious and promising, with a completely revamped Tech Startup Day 2019 (‘The Big Squeeze’) as a first joint milestone: a one-day inspiration and business networking event that puts the ‘time squeezing’-philosophy for startups and scale-ups into action.

TSD 2019 - ‘The Big Squeeze’ will take place on February 28 in The Egg in Brussels.

A brand new key event powered by and is ‘The Big Score’, that brings 50 of the largest Belgian corporates together with 300 dynamic tech startups. ‘The Big Score’ will be organized in the spring of 2019, with only one clear goal: to enable all players to score deals.

Additionally the successful ‘GoGlobal’ economic missions program will be further expanded - to help Belgian and European startups and scale-ups soft land into new markets all over the world - as well as the data gathering efforts, not only on a Belgian, but also on a European scale. Next GoGlobal missions include programs in Boston & Toronto, Lagos (Nigeria), Talinn, Singapore, Seattle & Vancouver and Hyderabad & Bangalore (India).
